Many assistance schemes are going on so that there is no financial problem in the treatment of the employees and general public. Head of Hospital Administration Department of Sanjay Gandhi PGI, Prof. R Harshvardhan told that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya State Employees Cashless Scheme, Ayushman Bharat, National Health Fund, Incurable Disease Fund, PM and CM Care Fund are government schemes, besides this, Kamdhenu Very Poor Medical Assistance Scheme is being run at the institute level. A seminar was organized on Saturday for information and awareness about schemes for the treatment of the poor. Poor patients come to the institute, many do not have money for treatment, so this event was organized to give information about the scheme to the doctors, residents, staff nurses, medical social workers, public relations officers and others of the institute.

VK Paliwal said that health care scheme for every individual is the need of the hour. The Kovid era has taught us a lot that we have to keep ourselves safe at all times. Financial assistance schemes play a vital role in improving the lives of millions of citizens across the country. These schemes aim to address various socio-economic challenges and create a prosperous society. Director Prof. R k Dhiman said that due to lack of information, many people are not able to take advantage of the schemes.
