Jitendra Yadav was
elected president for the third consecutive time and Ramkumar Sinha for the
second time in the biennial election of Lucknow's Sanjay Gandhi PGI Employees
Federation. 855
people of different cadres voted in the election. Jitendra
Yadav won by 17 votes.
Neel Mani Tiwari got 371
votes while Madan Murari got 48 votes. General
Secretary Ram Kumar Sinha won by 167 votes. Against him, the candidate
Dharmesh Kumar got 344
votes. The election result was declared late last night.
Apart from these, senior vice president Ram Raj Singh, Sunita Singh were
elected. Suresh Kumar Rawat and Ajay Kumar were elected on the post of Vice
President. Senior minister Manju Lata Yadav was elected unopposed. Joint
ministers Kishan Singh and Bhupendra Vikram were elected. Treasurer Virendra
Yadav was elected. Organization Minister Chandra Prabha and Rajesh Gupta,
Office Minister Vijay Bahadur, Publicity Minister Ramesh Gautam and Mohd. Abid
Rizvi and Shri Krishan Pal Singh, Krishan Pal, Ram Sagar, Afsar Veg, Ajay Kumar,
Anita Negi were elected unopposed as executive members. Ram Kumar was elected
General Secretary earlier also. elected officials said that he will fight for
the welfare of patients and employees at every level. If there is any kind of
negligence in patient service at any level then we will get bad name which will
not be in the interest of the institution. Administrators have been coming and
going but we are in service today. Have to take service tomorrow after
retirement. All the people who are working in the institute will be in the
interest of the institute. Outsourced employees have an equal contribution to
the service. There are many issues of permanent employees, in which
patient care allowance, restoration of the posts which have been reduced under
standardization, uniform allowance, outstanding payment to outsourced employees
will be the issue. General Secretary of the employees organization Savitri
Singh said that we will cooperate with the federation in every legitimate
demand. Outgoing General Secretary Dharmesh Kumar, President of Meditic
Association DK Singh, General Secretary Saroj Verma, Staff Leader Amar Singh,
RK Bajpai, Staff Leader CL Verma, KK Tiwari, Satish Mishra and others have
congratulated the new office bearers.
