After controlling the infection, he underwent surgery. By laparoscopy technique, the left side segment of the liver along with the tumor was removed (left hepatectomy). After 12 hours of complex laparoscopic surgery, the tumor was successfully removed and the intestine was connected to the bile duct through a small incision in the abdomen. Laparoscopic major liver resection surgery has been performed for the first time in the institute. After the surgery, the patient improved rapidly and he had to stay in the ICU for observation only for a day.
Cirrhosis and changes in liver cause problems
