Talking about the Emergency Medicine and Kidney Transplantation
Centre, he said that the emergency services would be improved by increasing the
number of emergency beds by 7 times. Now . It will start functioning completely
as soon as the new recruitments are done. He also insisted on increasing kidney
transplant from 3 per week to 8 to 10 per week. Also mentioned the Advance
Pediatric Center. This advance pediatric center will have 23 departments, in
which 125 faculty members and 185 senior residents will also be appointed.Thus
there will be a parallel hospital for children, with a single center for all
ailments related to them.
Information was also given about the Advance Diabetic Center, which will have all the treatment facilities under one roof for every disease related to diabetes. This center will start functioning by the month of September. The process of creation of Head and Neck Cancer Department and Infectious Diseases Department is also going on.Told that robotic surgery is being done 6 days a week. Stressed on speeding up the organ donation programme. A large number of people participated in this programme.
